All the staff were courteous and helpful. So the next day we got a call around noon, and we got a specular room on the nineteenth floor. Well my wife went down to complain, and they said they could give us another room, but not until the next day which was fine. The furniture and rugs were stained, lots of light bulbs not working, and as I looked out my window we could see a roof with pillows and sheets that had been thrown out the window from another room. So when she gave me my key I thought it said a room on the nineteenth floor, as we always get a suite on a high floor, well I was wrong, it was on the ninth floor and it was HORRIBLE.
I went down to the desk and I swear they forgot about us, as all of a sudden a room was available.
Normally it is usually a one to two hour wait. When we arrived I went to check in and the girl said she would give me a call when the room was ready. We always come here numerous times of the year, and always on our anniversary. But there was a bit of a problem this past week when we stayed. First of all let me start by saying my wife and I love Foxwoods.
