I went and put him in the car after that but noticed security was constantly walking about the casino like they were looking for someone and my anxiety levels rose. A woman at the front desk demanded to know if my dog was a service dog, I was so startled by her rudeness, I said yes. Since I wanted to stay at their hotel in the near future, I walked over to the hotel to inquire about pet policy.
Many area casinos that I have visited welcome dogs and since there was no signage anywhere I assumed that he would be welcome at this place. But I travel with a small dog that helps me with PTSD anxiety and while not a 'certified' service animal, I do not state he is a service animal.
